Flincth Speed Reader Pro: the Free Trial, Buying and Restoring

Start the 7-day Pro trial with no payment details, buy Pro once with Family Sharing, restore it on a new device and see what the free plan includes.

Flincth Speed Reader is a free download. Pro is a single purchase. There is no subscription, and the trial never turns into a charge.

Free and Pro

The free plan has every reading mode and every format, light and dark themes, the dyslexia-friendly font and every accessibility setting. It limits daily reading time, the number of documents in the library, the top speed and the number of Quick Reads a day. Settings → Plan lists each limit and how much you have used today.

Pro removes those limits and adds higher speeds, more themes and fonts, the focus letter options, chunk and pause tuning, presets, full reading statistics with streaks and goals, and iCloud Sync.

Start the 7-day trial

  1. Tap Explore Pro at the bottom of the library, or open Settings → Plan and tap Try Pro free for 7 days.
  2. On the Pro screen, tap Try Pro free for 7 days.

The trial is free: no payment details and no automatic charge. Flincth may ask Remind you before the trial ends?; tap Remind Me for one notification two days before it ends, or Not Now.

The trial can be used once per Apple Account. The library shows how many days are left.

When the trial ends

You’ll see Your Pro trial has ended with how much you read during it. Choose Keep Pro to buy it, or Continue with the free plan.

On the free plan, all your documents stay in the library and stay readable, even above the free limit; you just can’t add new ones until you’re under it. A speed above the free maximum is lowered, and Pro settings go back to the free defaults without being deleted.

Buy Pro

Tap Buy Pro on the Pro screen. To open it, tap Explore Pro in the library, or in Settings → Plan tap Get Flincth Pro (or Buy Pro during the trial). It costs $9.99 in the US, once; your App Store shows the price in your currency. Pro is shared with your family through Family Sharing.

Restore Pro on another device

Pro belongs to your Apple Account. On a new iPhone or iPad, or after reinstalling, open Settings → Plan and tap Restore Purchases.

If it says No previous Pro purchase was found for this Apple Account, check that the device uses the same Apple Account you bought Pro with. A family member’s purchase appears when Family Sharing is set up for purchases.

If a purchase doesn’t go through

  • The App Store isn’t reachable. Check your connection and try again.
  • Purchase couldn’t be verified. Nothing was charged twice. Tap Restore Purchases, or try again later.
  • Purchases are unavailable right now. Tap Retry loading purchases.
