Not quite. A tiling window manager keeps rearranging windows as you open and close them. Flincth applies your saved window layout when you activate a setup, and then leaves your windows alone until you switch again.
Not on its own. When a display disconnects, macOS moves its windows onto the screens that remain and does not put them back when you reconnect. Save the arrangement as a setup and one shortcut puts every window back after you plug in again. See how to make your Mac remember window positions.
No. Window placement works with open, non-full-screen windows on the current desktop. Flincth does not move windows between Mission Control desktops or into or out of macOS full screen.
No. Flincth keeps text clipboard history locally, with a separate history for each setup, and never sends it or your setups anywhere. The app only goes online if you turn on new-feature announcements, which are off until you do.
No. Each setup keeps its own app membership, layout, and placements. Editing an app’s placement in one setup leaves your other setups unchanged.
