Paste is a clipboard you rent. Flincth is a desk you own.

Paste asks for a subscription and leaves the sorting to you. Flincth keeps a clipboard history for each kind of work on its own, and switching to it also moves every app’s window into place and hides the apps you don’t need. One price, paid once.

Paste: pinboards you sort by hand.

Everything you copy lands in one history. Keeping a project’s snippets together means pinning or dragging each one onto a pinboard yourself, and using it past the trial takes a subscription or a $99.99 lifetime plan.

Flincth: every window, one switch.

A setup names the apps for a kind of work and the region each one belongs to. Switch to it and they all move at once, and the clipboard shows only what you copied for that work.

Organised for you, paid once.

Paste is a clipboard you keep tidy yourself. Flincth tidies the clipboard by setting up your work.

Why people move to Flincth.

A clipboard you have to sort is one more job. Flincth sorts it by knowing what you are working on.

Your desk, ready in one switch

Coding, writing, meetings: each setup knows its apps and where they go. No more dragging the same windows into the same places every morning.

The right snippets, not all of them

Each setup keeps its own clipboard history, so client notes never turn up in your code and yesterday’s research stays with the research.

Fewer permissions to hand out

Flincth never asks for Accessibility access. It moves windows through the “Flincth Apply” shortcut you install once in Apple Shortcuts.

Nothing to lose by trying

“Not Flincth” puts your desk back exactly as it was, one click away. Your setups and clipboard history never leave your Mac.

Need images and files on every device in your clipboard? Paste does that. Flincth keeps the text you copy with the work it belongs to, sets up the desk around it, and asks for one payment.

Good questions.

Is Flincth a Paste alternative?+

Yes, if you use Paste’s pinboards to keep projects apart. Flincth does that sorting for you: text you copy belongs to the setup you are working in, and switching setups brings its history forward with its windows.

Does Flincth need a subscription?+

No. Flincth is a one-time purchase on the Mac App Store, and updates are included.

Why does Flincth need a shortcut instead of Accessibility access?+

Flincth is sandboxed and never asks for Accessibility access. It moves windows through the “Flincth Apply” shortcut, which you install once in Apple Shortcuts. The app walks you through it.

Can Flincth move windows between desktops?+

No. It places ordinary windows on the current desktop and does not move them between Mission Control desktops or into or out of full screen.

Does Flincth snap windows when I drag them?+

No. Flincth applies your layout when you switch setups. It does not watch for drags or rearrange windows afterwards.
