Dualless gives you two windows. Flincth gives you a whole workspace.

Dualless splits the browser into a pair of windows at a ratio you pick from a short list. Flincth fits up to eight sites into panes inside one tab, sized however you drag them, and keeps each arrangement as a workspace you can switch back to.

Dualless: two windows, set ratios.

Choose 3:7, 4:6, 5:5, 6:4 or 7:3 and the browser splits into two windows. Its latest version, 0.4.1, came out in December 2023.

Flincth: several sites, one tab.

Split a single tab into as many as eight panes, put a site in each and drag the dividers to size them. Save it as a workspace and switch between workspaces with a click or a shortcut.

Past two, past preset ratios.

Dualless halves the browser. Flincth builds the workspace a task needs.

Why people move to Flincth.

Two windows cover a quick comparison. Real work usually needs three or four sites, the same ones every day.

Everything for a task, in one tab

Dashboard, document, chat and video side by side, in panes you size yourself. One tab to keep, not a stack of windows to line up.

A workspace for each kind of work

Save the sites and the split for each job, and switch between them with a click or a shortcut you choose.

Signed-in sites still work

A site that needs your session, or refuses to be shown in a pane, runs as a real browser window lined up with its pane.

Nothing leaves your browser

No account, no analytics and no network requests of its own. Workspaces are stored in your browser, and site access is asked for one site at a time.

Only ever need two windows side by side? Dualless does that in two clicks. Flincth is for the tasks that need more sites, kept together and ready every time.

Good questions.

Is Flincth a Dualless alternative?+

Yes. Instead of two windows at a preset ratio, Flincth gives you up to eight panes inside one tab, sized by dragging, and saves each arrangement as a workspace.

Why does a site sometimes open as a window instead of a pane?+

Some sites refuse to be shown inside another page, and a site in a pane does not see your signed-in session. For those, Flincth opens a real browser window and keeps it lined up with the pane, so the site works exactly as it does in a normal tab.

What does Flincth ask permission for?+

Nothing when you install it. When you put a site in a pane, your browser asks for access to that one site, and only then. Every site you have allowed is listed in Flincth’s settings and can be removed there.

Does Flincth collect any data?+

No. Your workspaces are stored in your browser on your own device. Flincth has no account, no analytics and makes no network requests of its own.
